Open Question: What is the title of this short story?

I'm trying to remember the title of a short story I read in elementary school or middle school. The details are VERY fuzzy, so I don't have a great description. From what I remember, it's about a girl whose family moved to some fictional place from Ohio(? could be wrong about that). This fictional place has constant rain every day, but every so often there's a point in time where it is sunny for a day or something. So this girl is waiting for that day, but when it comes she accidentally gets locked in a room or something and can't get outside.
